6-Day Hiking & Cultural Experience

Day 1 – Santiago Island Tour:
From Praia to TarrafalBegin your adventure with the island tour , exploring the diversity of the island from the coast to the mountains. Visit traditional villages, beautiful viewpoints and local communities while discovering the history and culture of Santiago. Continue north towards Tarrafal, where you will spend the night and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this coastal town.

Day 2 – Hike Ribeira Grande de Santiago
Today, explore one of Santiago’s beautiful rural areas on foot with a local guide. The hike through Ribeira Grande de Santiago takes you through valleys, agricultural landscapes and traditional communities, offering an authentic experience of the island’s nature and daily life. Return to your accommodation after the hike and enjoy a relaxing evening in Tarrafal.

Day 3 – Hike Serra Malagueta - Ribeira Principal & Tarrafal for 2 nights 
Continue your Santiago adventure with a hike through Ribeira Principal, discovering another side of the island’s impressive mountain landscape. Walk through valleys and local villages while experiencing the peaceful rhythm of rural Cape Verde. In the afternoon, return to Tarrafal for some free time to enjoy the town, beach and local atmosphere.

Day 4 Relax and enjoy the Beach 

Day 5 – Santiago City Tour & Departure.
After breakfast, travel back towards Praia for a city tour. Discover the capital’s main sights, markets and historic areas while experiencing the modern and traditional sides of Santiago.

Day 6
At the end of the stay, transfer to the airport or your next destination, bringing your Santiago experience to an end.
